Copilot Now Generates Full Length AI Songs 🎵

Microsoft Copilot recently announced a significant partnership with Suno, a frontrunner in artificial intelligence-based music creation, to bring prompt-to-music (aka text-to-music) to life.

This feature is designed to cater to all, even those without any musical experience, with a simple process: type what you want.

How It Works:

1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to copilot.microsoft.com.

2. Sign in with your Microsoft Account.

3. Activate the Suno plugin or click on the Suno logo.

4. Prompt Copilot to create a song, like "Create a pop song about adventures with your family".

5. Enjoy and share your new tune on social media or with friends.

Suno's AI technology stands out for its ability to generate complete songs - including lyrics, instrumentals, and vocals - from just a single sentence.

Rollout and Availability: The service started rolling out to users yesterday, with a gradual increase in availability over the coming weeks.

Bill Gates’ AI Predictions For 2024 🤖

When Bill Gates speaks on the future of AI, we listen. And recently America’s favorite IT guy made some eye-opening 2024 predictions on the future of AI during his annual address.

Here’s what we heard: 

Healthier world: Gates predicts an AI-fueled medical revolution, with personalized cures and treatments are just around the corner. Imagine cancer vaccines, AI surgeons performing delicate procedures, or supplements designed to treat malnutrition.

Wide Spread Use: AI will reach mainstream culture & adaptation within 18 -24 months in advanced economies like the US. And if you’re reading this, you’re already a part of the club. (; 

Climate Innovation: Feeling the heat? wipes beads of sweat off face Gates foresees a surge in clean energy solutions, even in areas like nuclear power, which, of course, is a great thing.

Historic Elections: Gates predicts 2024 will see a record voting turnout in around 60 countries, impacting half the world. He urges to choose leaders who prioritize global human development because collaboration is key to a brighter and Microsoft-using friendlier future.

Better Education: Gates predicts AI can become a personalized tutor to students across the world. And from my experience, he’s not wrong. It’s never been easier to learn something new with AI. (Have you heard about this awesome new, company called Snack Prompt?)

But let’s connect the dots - what does this all really mean?

• Personalized Healthcare: AI will cater to your specific needs, boosting your health and well-being. Which is needed - if you have ever been to the doctor, more often than not, their advice is general and not specific, which is frustrating. AI could give you the personal attention you deserve from the jump. 

• Smarter Homes and Cities: Imagine voice-controlled homes, self-driving cars, AI-optimized energy grids, and C-3PO making your eggs. (Okay, maybe not that last one). But listen, we already have smart homes now, and it’s only natural to think they will become more democratized as time marches on. While this can certainly be convenient, seeing how this affects morale will be interesting, as there’s always a bit of happiness in the struggle.

Personally, I predict we could see a big, nasty invasion of privacy. Much like we’ve already seen with Meta yoinking 1.1 billion photos from Facebook & Instagram.

Either way, one thing is true: the future is yet to be written, and we hold the pen. So write the story you want to live; after all, you’re the one living it.
