Bumble Apologizes For Anti-Celibacy Ad Blunder

Bumble is pulling its controversial billboards that seemingly shamed celibate women. The dating app company faced backlash for ads mocking celibacy, with messages like “A vow of celibacy is not the answer” and “Don’t give up on dating and become a nun.”

Bumble admitted their mistake in an Instagram post, saying they aimed to bring humor but failed.

They’re now removing the ads and donating the ad space to organizations supporting women, like the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
