Figma Already Pulls AI Tool After Criticism

Figma has temporarily removed its Make Designs tool after users noticed it generated designs too similar to Apple’s iOS weather app.

CEO Dylan Field acknowledged the issue, attributing it to a rushed launch and a lack of variation in the design system. The AI models used were not trained by Figma but by third-party providers like OpenAI and Amazon.

Figma is reviewing the tool and plans to re-enable it after ensuring it meets quality standards.
