Next Level Money Management
Can You Trust AI With Your Money 🤔
Joshua Browder, the CEO of DoNotPay decided to hand over the key to his entire personal financial life to GPT-4 in an attempt to save money.
He gave AutoGPT, which is part of DoNotPay, access to his bank, financial statements, credit reports, and email.
Spoiler alert: The AI did manage to stash away $217.86 in 24 hours.
But what will truly blow your mind is the brilliant and strange methods it employed to achieve those savings.
First, he got AutoGPT to work on subscriptions he’s not using.
He did this with a DoNotPay connection that logged in to every bank account and credit card that he owns and scanned over 10,000 transactions.
It found $80.86 leaving his account every month in useless subscriptions and offered to cancel every single one.
The bot got to work drafting legal letters, e-signing them, chatting automatically with agents, and even clicking online buttons to get them canceled!
Here it is! Using the DoNotPay ChatGPT Plugin, I asked the A.I to cancel my gym membership.
It immediately drafted a legal notice to cancel, e-signed it and connected with USPS to mail it, all without leaving the conversation.

The bot also helped him get easy refunds.
It pointed out a United Airlines in-flight Wi-Fi receipt for $36.99 from London to New York in Joshua's inbox.
It then asked: “Did the Wi-Fi work properly?”
When Joshua said: “No,” it immediately drafted a persuasive legal letter to United, requesting a refund.
48 hours later, United agreed to a refund.
DoNotPay charges a subscription fee of $36 every two months. If you're curious and want to learn more, you can find additional information on their website.

AI’s Bad Memory
How to Increase Context Length 🔓
Researchers have unveiled MemGPT, a new way to give AI unlimited memory/context windows, breaking the limitation of highly restrictive context sizes.
We're all aware of the big problem with LLMs: Their memory sucks.
They can't handle those long, chatty conversations, and the prompt size is very limited.
To overcome this issue, developers have introduced MemGPT, inspired by how traditional operating systems manage memory efficiently.
MemGPT uses a similar technique to intelligently handle different memory levels, extending the LLM's context window.
This great innovation supercharges MemGPT to tackle big tasks like:
Diving into massive documents.
Keeping up with long chats by smartly managing info.
Remembering context.
And adapting on the fly during chats with users.
If you wanna give MemGPT a shot, you can download it from GitHub.
