X, aka Twitter, has replaced its water pistol emoji with a regular handgun.
This change was announced by an X employee and is now visible on the web version of the platform, with mobile updates expected soon.
The decision to revert to a handgun aligns with the platform's recent shifts toward free speech under Elon Musk’s ownership.
