Make $$ With AI
💼 Everyone’s Got an AI Side Hustle Now

The Bite: ChatGPT isn’t just writing essays anymore — it’s running your side gig.

A new wave of micro-entrepreneurs are turning prompts into paychecks, from tutoring and résumé writing to digital product shops on Etsy.

What used to take software licenses and design degrees now fits in a chat window.

For millions (especially outside the pricey West), it’s not hype, it’s rent money.

Snacks:

  • 34% of Americans have used ChatGPT — double last year

  • Top AI side hustles: tutoring, content writing, social media gigs, and digital products

  • Some freelancers earn $27/hr+ with ChatGPT assist

  • 38% of Etsy sellers started their shop to supplement income

  • ChatGPT = no-code business partner for a global workforce

Why it Bites: This is the first time in history you can start a one-person business without knowing a single line of code or English.

AI turned creativity into currency, but it also blurred the line between using the machine and becoming part of it.

Because if every “AI job” depends on the same model, we’re all technically subcontractors in the world’s biggest invisible company.

The tools are here.

Everything Else
🧠 You Need to Know

→ Google removed its Gemma AI from the “AI Studio” platform after Marsha Blackburn accused it of fabricating criminal allegations against her, spotlighting the defamation risk when models hallucinate real-world claims.

→ Alphabet Inc.’s moonshot lab X Development LLC is increasingly spinning ambitious internal projects into standalone companies via its Series X Capital fund — a structural shift in how big-tech handles radical innovation.

→ Perplexity will use Getty’s editorial and creative image library under a multi-year global license, integrating visuals into its AI search/discovery engine and improving attribution standards for creators.

→ Microsoft’s massive investment in the United Arab Emirates positions the Gulf state as a strategic front in the U.S.–China AI technology race — compute, chips and geopolitical sway all in one deal.

→ (Just a reminder: this is not a new link but a related angle) Global AI deployment increasingly relies on energy-and-compute hosting zones like the UAE — a nod back to the compute/energy bottleneck in Main Story #1.

Amazon <> OpenAI
🤝 OpenAI Plugs Into AWS. The Cloud Just Got Louder

The Bite: OpenAI just signed a $38B, multi-year deal to run its AI workloads on Amazon Web Services.

The move gives OpenAI access to AWS’s massive clusters of NVIDIA chips and the ability to scale to tens of millions of CPUs.
Basically an all-you-can-eat buffet of compute power.

It’s the biggest AI infrastructure partnership yet… and maybe the loudest signal that no one can scale this alone.

Snacks:

  • AWS will supply EC2 UltraServers powered by
hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GPUs

  • Capacity expands through 2026–2027, worth up to $38 billion

  • OpenAI gets on-demand scaling for training + serving next-gen models

  • AWS says clusters can handle up to 500K+ chips
    for low-latency workloads

  • OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman: “Scaling frontier
    AI requires massive, reliable compute”

Why it bites: This partnership isn’t just about speed, it’s about survival.
Literally…

OpenAI’s burning compute faster than the grid can keep up, and AWS is the only one big enough to keep the lights on (for now).

Every new model gets smarter and hungrier.

The question isn’t if this works… it’s what happens when the energy bill hits.

Because at this pace, every AI breakthrough comes with a carbon footprint the size of a small country.

When will we see the AI giants address this?
Probs never until it affects the bottom line…

Anyways, we’re still bullish especially knowing that we can complain about carbon footprint all day but all still be AI power users…

Cake and eat it too?
Sure…
