A recent study by BrightEdge suggests that Google's AI-generated search results, or AI Overviews, are appearing less frequently.

The study indicates a drop from 11% of queries on June 1st to 7% on June 30th, particularly citing less content from Reddit and Quora.

Google disputes the study’s methodology, but does acknowledge it’s fine-tuning AI Overviews to improve quality and relevance, as user trust in these AI-driven features is critical for competing with rivals like Microsoft and OpenAI.
