šŸ¤“ Stupid Simple: I Swore I Wouldn’t Write This...

The Dominoes Are About to Fall

But here I am…

Drinking a cappuccino inside the coffee shop I built in my mid-twenties.

A place that meant so much to me.

I picked the tile. Designed the layout. Built the brand by hand.
And today… I’m sitting here asking myself a question I never thought I’d have to answer:

If a $20k robot barista could replace my staff… would I do it?

My honest answer?

Probably not… at first.

But if the shop down the street adopts robot baristas, starts making drinks faster, serves more people, cuts costs—and slowly starts pulling my customers away?

I’d have no choice.

I swore I wouldn’t write about this.

Losing your job to AI.

🤮 Blegh. Just saying it feels gross.

But we need to have this conversation.

Just… through a different lens. It gets good!

A Friend Recently Called… and Shared this…

A childhood friend of mine—PhD in Finance—got hired to oversee a warehouse for a multi-billion-dollar company.

But here’s the kicker:

The entire warehouse was run by robots.
No staff. No chaos. Just machines doing the work.

His only job?
Make the robots more efficient… until they didn’t need him either.

Yeah... this isn’t a ā€œsomedayā€ thing. It’s now.

He lasted almost two years.
And when I asked him why he quit, he paused and said something I won’t forget:

ā€œIt’s hard to stay somewhere that doesn’t need people anymore.ā€

Automation = Robotics

Robotics = Automation

When I talk to investors, I always frame it like this:

Automation is the software version of robotics.
Robotics is the hardware version of automation.

Same idea. Different packaging.

And soon, they’ll become the MAIN conversation in every company.

You won’t even notice it happening—until one day it feels like it happened overnight.

Honestly, it’s hard to imagine many jobs that won’t be affected by this. It’s one thing if AI only impacted digital work, but it’s the physical world to. Robots + AI = humans that can work non stop. That can do just about anything…

1 Human for Every 10 Robots

That’s my prediction.

Tesla factories might soon run 80–90% on robots.

Eventually?

  • 1x human manages 10x machines.

  • Then robots manage other robots.

  • 1x human for 50x machines.

  • Then 100x.

  • Then none.

This isn’t 2035 science fiction — it’s this year.

It’s happening faster than anyone expected.

This is already being tested.

These robots?
They’re Humans 2.0… in a way

Here’s how I see the Tesla timeline playing out:

Next 12–24 months (my prediction):
→ Tesla deploys factory robots
→ Output doubles
→ Costs drop 40%
→ Car prices drop 20%
→ Other carmakers can’t compete
→ Other car makers follows suit
→ Millions of jobs displaced
→ Other industries follows suit
→ More jobs displaced

AI Takes the Call

In high school, I worked in call centers.

At one job, I automated 60% of my tasks. Showed my manager. Got promoted.

But they never rolled it out.

Why?

They didn’t need to.
Paying people to stay inefficient still worked—because the competition hadn’t changed yet.

Today, there are 3 million Americans in call centers.

But one startup—built entirely on ChatGPT—will soon offer those same services:
Cheaper. Faster. No burnout. No sleep.

It only takes one call center to flip the switch.

Once they 10x productivity and slash costs?

The dominoes fall.

Everyone else either adapts… or goes out of business.

The Rules Have Changed

Old Rule:
ā€œTake your time. You don’t have to adopt every new thing.ā€

New Rule:
ā€œResist innovation—and risk dying. Slowly... or quickly.ā€

Daniel Kahneman (Nobel Prize winner) said it best:

ā€œWe prefer what we can predict and control—even if it’s less profitable.ā€

That’s why million-dollar companies still…

  • Don’t have a Google Business listing

  • Don’t run ads

  • Don’t do social

They ā€œgrew by word of mouthā€ā€¦ and stayed stuck there.

I was the same.

Even after 10 years running a digital agency, when I launched my coffee brand—I avoided the basics.

No ads.
No social.
No Google profile.

Why?

Because I wanted to believe the product would be enough.

And thankfully, for a while… it was.

But not anymore.

Resisting now = irrelevance later.

So… What Happens Now?

AI is out for everything… and everyone. We will start to see some of our friends loose their job soon.

Farmers.
Drivers.
Call center reps.
Copywriters.
Coders.

A lot of jobs will be replaced.

Machines don’t sleep.
Eventually, they’ll outperform us at most things.

But that’s not the end of the story.

The 4 Human Skills That Still Matter

I wrote a newsletter about the 4 core human skills that still give you leverage.
(Read it here)

These are the things I’m doubling down on.

And that’s why I’m launching a community. We need to dominate and get ahead…

Not to survive the wave.

But to ride it.

To build from it.

To move fast.

To help you do the same… (I inked to it bellow. It kicks off tomorrow)

🚨 Starting Tomorrow: Our Community Begins

I’ve cleared my calendar for this.

I’m showing up to these weekly calls—personally—because I don’t want to just write about the shift...

I want to walk through it with you. I prepared a lot for you…

āœ… Resources
āœ… Walkthroughs
āœ… Building a 6-8 figure Automation business
āœ… Integrating AI to your existing business
āœ… And me—actually showing up live

Oh… not just me, my whole team!

We’ve been preparing for months.

And tomorrow, it begins.

No funnels. No fluff. Just the work.

Final Thought

There’s a song I used to love growing up.
It’s called Hello Hurricane by Switchfoot.

The message?

ā€œDon’t run from the storm.
Say hello.
Lean in.ā€

This is the storm.

Let’s lean in.
